Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one completed travel assignment for a 13-week day shift contract.

• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• MD State license required in hand (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with adult acute care and adult outpatient patient populations

• Hospital-based CT Tech position in adult acute care and outpatient settings
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Wednesday-Friday 10:30 AM-11:00 PM
• Performs CT scans of abdomen, chest, and head with and/or without contrast
• Prepares and administers contrast media and starts peripheral IVs
• Handles musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment along with PACS
• Weekly orientation begins 11/2 or 11/9
• Flu vaccine required for all employees
• Local candidates within 60 miles considered at a lower rate
• RTO not permitted during the first two weeks of assignment, with a maximum of 7 days allowed per 13-week contract
• Previous Med Star employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
