Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Must-Have: BLS CPR via AHA and ACLS

Description:

Responsible for providing direct patient respiratory care treatments. Assist in evaluating patients with respiratory illness. Provide respiratory therapy in various critical care units. Deliver general respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients in the emergency room. Manage ventilators and perform arterial blood gas analysis. Administer CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen therapy. Conduct chest physiotherapy (CPT) and aerosolized medication delivery. Participate in CPR and code team activities.

Utilize computerized documentation for patient records.
