X-Ray Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to provide exceptional radiological services and patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various imaging techniques, including general X-Ray, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.

• Night shift: 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Work schedule:
  
  Sunday - Wednesday

• The system will auto-approve up to 14 days of requested time off (RTO).
• All staff are required to work every other winter and summer holiday, with no RTO approved during these periods.
• No RTO allowed on hard-to-fill days, such as Easter, Mother's Day, or Father's Day.

All clinicians are expected to float as needed within their scope of practice to meet facility needs.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Community hospital experience is required; teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience are preferred.
• BLS and ARRT-R certifications are mandatory.

• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care is required.
• Children’s hospital experience is preferred.
• Experience in Emergency Departments, ICUs, NICUs, Operating Rooms, and PICUs is preferred.
• Required imaging expertise includes abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and extremity exams.
• Experience with C-Arm and portable imaging is necessary.
• PACS experience is required, with GE and Philips equipment experience preferred.
• Preferred experience with barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series procedures.

Any scrub color is acceptable for the position.

This role involves averaging approximately 60 patient visits per day, covering all patient demographics, from neonatal to geriatric. Responsibilities will include performing various X-Ray procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care and safety.
