Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a passion for luxury hospitality? The Dupont Circle Hotel, a luxury property nestled in the heart of Washington DC, is seeking an experienced and energetic Group Sales Manager to join our growing sales team.
About the RoleAs a Group Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving our group sales efforts, building strong client relationships, and exceeding ambitious sales targets. You will proactively source new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, coordinate site inspections, and deliver exceptional service that reflects the unique Doyle Collection ethos.
What We’re Looking For:- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager, preferably within a luxury hotel environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals through proactive business development
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to connect warmly and professionally with clients and colleagues alike
- Proficiency in Opera PMS (Sales & Catering), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to conduct engaging hotel site inspections and familiarize clients with the property
- High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Identify and secure new group accounts to grow hotel revenue
- Prepare compelling proposals and sales contracts tailored to client needs
- Negotiate rates and contract terms to maximize profitability
- Deliver exceptional client experiences through site inspections, familiarization trips, and follow-up communications
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of group events
- Maintain confidentiality of client and guest information

- Competitive compensation - base Salary $75,000-$85,000
