AIMS is seeking an experienced Linux Support & Monitoring Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise Linux environments and backup operations. This role is critical for ensuring system reliability, data protection, and operational efficiency across complex IT infrastructures.

As a Linux Support & Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for administering Linux operating systems, monitoring system performance, and managing enterprise backup and restore operations. You will work with virtualization platforms, storage infrastructures, and cloud fundamentals to deliver robust and secure IT services. This position offers an opportunity to work with leading technologies and contribute to mission‑critical operations.

• Administer and monitor Linux operating systems (RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Manage data protection and recovery using enterprise backup solutions (IBM, Veeam, Veritas Backup Exec).
• Configure and maintain SAN & NAS storage infrastructure (IBM, Dell).
• Support virtualization platforms (Power
  
  VM, KVM, Hyper‑V).
• Perform routine system checks, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux OS administration and backup/restore operations.
• Strong knowledge of OS administration, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.

Certifications:

• Linux Professional Institute LPIC‑1 or equivalent.
• Azure Fundamentals Certified.
• Enterprise backup software certification (IBM, Veeam, Veritas).

• Experience with advanced Linux scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with cloud integration and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to enterprise security and compliance standards.
