This consultant is expected to provide a high level of value add with regard to the Enterprise User Administration system
. The primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding, configuring, and maintaining the Enterprise User Administration CA Product based on current environment use.
- Evaluating the current infrastructure, hardware, and network configurations supporting the CA Product.
- Providing recommendations on system performance, system logs, indexing, cache settings, etc.
- Developing domain-specific strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Communicating recommendations, issues, defects, and remediation both written and verbally.
- Interacting with customers to provide information and status updates.
- Documenting to maintain accurate application repository data.
- Understanding the Software Development Life Cycle and change management principles.
- Evaluating application health and reporting statistics using various tools.
- Maintaining asset information for hardware and software components.
- Monitoring hardware and software capabilities.
- Ensuring architecture components in EUA projects align with blueprints and reference architectures.
- Supporting cross-functional efforts and coordinating domain-level architecture components.
- Collaborating with solution architects to align projects with enterprise architecture strategy and future roadmaps.
- Designing and defining system architecture for CA Identity Minder, with experience in LDAP, CA IDM, CA Governance Minder, and CA connectors (RACF, LDAP, AD, Oracle).
- Refined troubleshooting skills and determining system specifications for hardware/software compatibility and security.
- Coordinating subsystem design and integration.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving program support deficiencies with corrective actions.
- Providing technical guidance to DBAs and developers.
- Serving as a spokesperson and advisor on advanced technical research.
- Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Physics, Engineering, or related field plus 7 years of experience, or 9 years’ experience without a degree.
- Demonstrated experience with UNIX, Windows, Oracle, SQL, LDAP, and system security.
- Providing clear, actionable solutions for customer issues.
- Maintaining active customer relationships to determine business requirements.
- Maintaining architecture/network diagrams and asset information.
- Monitoring and managing hardware and software capacities.
- Documenting configurations and ensuring adherence to standards.
- Passing a CMS Security Clearance (Public Trust) and having internet capability.
