Position SummaryThe Presales Solutions Engineer will provide technical expertise and support to customers before the sale and during the deployment of Shield AI’s Hivemind products.
What You’ll Do- Contribute to white papers, RFIs, contract reviews, and proposals.
- Generate and deliver technical briefings tailored to customer needs.
- Become a user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack and an expert in Hivemind solutions.
- Support the development and execution of demos.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Hivemind demos.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address customer feedback and improve products.
- Visit customers on site globally to support presales activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Technical background in software engineering.
- Intermediate proficiency in writing modern C++ code.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python.
- Intermediate proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- USG security clearance.
- 3+ years in a presales/solutions engineering role.
- 3+ years in a startup environment.
- Experience in the defense aviation, autonomy, or robotics industry.
$150,000 – $220,000 a year plus bonus, benefits and equity.
BenefitsFull‑time regular employee offer package includes competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, and equity. Temporary employees receive a benefits package after 60 days of employment.
