Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst​/Developer

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst/Developer to support data reporting and visualization needs for Baltimore County Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI or Tableau, working knowledge of Azure-based SQL databases, and a solid grasp of data warehouse concepts. This is a fully remote role with occasional on-site visits for meetings.

Location:
Baltimore, MD (Remote—2 to 3 on-site visits for meetings)

Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau

· Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions

· Work with stakeholders to identify, define, and document report requirements

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting

· Support and maintain existing reporting environments

· Collaborate with IT teams for integration of data sources and maintenance of data pipelines

· Maintain documentation related to reports, data models, and dashboard development

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years of BI experience without a degree

· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau

· Proficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)

· Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and design

· Experience with SQL databases, data modeling, and data management

· Knowledge of Azure Cloud services and Microsoft SQL databases in Azure

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
