Leidos is seeking a Service Now Developer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the next‑generation enterprise level business workflows for repository services, supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month.
We are a team of forward‑looking professionals in need of a strong candidate with these key required skills: experience with developing Service Now solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), CMDB, EA (APM/ TRM /TPM).
*** Selected candidate must be willing to work on‑site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week.

- Provide development support for Service Now projects and enhancements.
- Develop process workflows and automation strategies.
- Collaborate with the team in architecture design development and reviews.
- Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
- Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth‑related activities, including prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications for their practice expertise.
- Bachelor's and 4 years of experience, Master’s and 2 years of experience or 8+ in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of experience as Service Now developer
- 3+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews
- Experience across numerous parts of the Service Now platform and experience with commonly integrated third‑party technologies
- Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts
- Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM, etc.)
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
- Experience with the US Federal Government
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
