Database Manager

Job Description

• • Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, and security issues.
• • Performance tuning, query optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• • Detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
• • Perform backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, clustering, database mirroring and replication.
• • Support other related tasks as needed.

Database Manager - 1 part‑time resource (0.5 FTE)

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.

• Experience in the development and maintenance of database systems.

• Experience with database management systems, system design and analysis, operating systems software, and internal and data manipulation languages.
• Experience with FICO Debt Manager.

• Experience integrating FICO Debt Manager with multiple peripheral systems including IVR, IPD, debt referral, debt adjustment, payment processing and document management systems.
• Database administration in SQL Server (2012 or later).
