This role blends UX and UI design, with an emphasis on functional, task-oriented digital experiences that support onboarding, trading, money movement, and account maintenance. You’ll collaborate within agile, cross-functional teams alongside Product Owners, Engineers, and Senior Designers to deliver user-centered solutions that drive measurable impact for clients.
Responsibilities- Design and optimize web and mobile self-service experiences, ensuring usability, accessibility, and consistency across platforms.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate solutions effectively.
- Conduct UX research and usability testing to validate design decisions and refine experiences.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineers, and CX Strategists to translate business goals into elegant design solutions.
- Apply and advance the firm’s design system, maintaining brand consistency and inclusive design practices.
- Utilize voice-of-client feedback and behavioral data to identify pain points and propose enhancements.
- Present designs, research findings, and rationale clearly to stakeholders and technical teams.
- Support digital initiatives including secure site enhancements and new client onboarding experiences.
- Ensure all design deliverables align with legal, compliance, and accessibility standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2–4 years of professional digital product design experience, ideally in an enterprise or agency environment.
- Proven ability to design for both mobile and web platforms, focusing on user functionality and visual design quality.
- Proficiency in Figma and Fig Jam, with the ability to create high-quality prototypes and design deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience conducting UX research, usability testing, and applying findings to design improvements.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and inclusive design practices.
- Experience collaborating in agile development environments, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate design decisions and research insights.
- Portfolio showcasing real-world, shipped digital products that reflect functional and visual design expertise (school projects not accepted).
- Exposure to voice-of-client feedback tools (e.g., Qualtrics) and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics).
- Experience in financial services is a plus, though not required; candidates with agency backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
