GEICO is seeking an experienced Workday Financial Senior Solution Architect to function as a Tech Lead. You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization with engineering excellence as its mission.

• Focus initially on the Finance domain and provide technical and thought leadership.
• Leverage deep technical and functional Finance systems expertise to drive solutions that support GEICO’s current and future needs.
• Engage in cross‑functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues and develop new integrations.
• Lead design sessions with peers to ensure systems are well designed, efficient, and meet business expectations.
• Leverage experience with various ERPs (e.g., Workday, People Soft, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, or SAP) to enhance existing applications or build new ones.
• Drive solutions to meet business requirements in Finance, Accounting, and Management Reporting.
• Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve our toughest problems.
• Develop and execute technical software development strategy across the Finance Tech.
• Accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions.
• Serve as a role model and mentor, coaching the technical expertise of the engineering and product community.
• Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.

• 10+ years of Finance domain experience with industry‑leading ERP solutions (e.g., Workday, People Soft, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, or SAP).
• 8+ years of experience designing and architecting Financial ERP implementations.
• Deep Finance domain expertise to translate Finance requirements into solutions.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and management reporting philosophies.
• Exemplary ability to design, experiment, and influence engineering direction.
• Excellent communication skills with business leaders across Technology and Finance.
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex integrations.
• Experience building scalable, resilient, and highly available systems.
• Experience with data marts, repositories, or data lakes to support enterprise functions.
• Understanding of system monitoring concepts and tooling.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams and delivering production solutions.
• Analytical problem‑solving using quantitative approaches.
• Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent education or work experience.
