Freelance Audio Visual Technician

Technical Talent Resource Manager @ A-V Services, Inc. | Audio-Visual Production

A‑V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple Fortune 100 contracts, seeks a Freelance Audio/Visual/Multimedia Technician for on‑site support. The role requires strong customer‑service skills, comprehensive AV expertise, and a college degree or 3+ years of AV‑support experience.

• Operate and troubleshoot a wide range of AV equipment and systems, including switching, routing, interfacing, videoconferencing, and audio‑conferencing technologies.
• Read and follow AV system flow diagrams and support documentation.
• Support live events by operating digital audio consoles (A1).
• Work with an on‑site AV team on a daily basis and remain calm under pressure.
• Assist with Town Hall events, conference‑room meetings, and video‑conference‑based events, sometimes using Telepresence technology.

• Up‑to‑date awareness of AV and IT technologies and their features.
• Technical AV certifications such as CTS (a plus).
• Proficiency in personal computers and common applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Positive, professional image with excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
