Job DescriptionEmpower India’s Analytics vertical is seeking a Lead Analyst (
Dev Ops engineer
) to join its Reporting & Business Automation team. This person will lead cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD architecture, reliability engineering initiatives on AWS, guide Dev Ops best practices across teams and ensure secure, scalable, and optimized cloud operations.
- Architect and manage enterprise-scale AWS infrastructure with a focus on security, performance, and scalability
- Lead initiatives to standardize Dev Ops practices
- Oversee automation strategies for multi-account and multi-region AWS environments
- Implement cost optimization, auto-scaling, resource hygiene and governance frameworks
- Guide CI/CD transformation using multi-branch pipelines and rollback automation
- Mentor and support junior Dev Ops engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align Dev Ops delivery with business goals
- Drive Dev Sec Ops initiatives, embedding security scanning and compliance into CI/CD pipelines, develop scripts and automation using Python, Bash, or Power Shell to build and deploy workflows
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics or Computer Science engineering
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (Optional)
- 5-8 years of experience working in Dev Ops, with strong AWS hands‑on exposure
- Expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure Design and Automation Frameworks
- Proficiency with Terraform / Cloud Formation
- Good understanding of EKS, ECS orchestration
- Experience with AWS networking, VPC design, Route 53, and Cloud Front
- Knowledge of AWS Security, including IAM, KMS etc
- Proficiency with Cloud Watch, events logging for observability
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git Ops, and Dev Sec Ops methodologies
- Experience in US retirement / Insurance / financial services operations preferably in a Global capability center
- Performance-oriented, resourceful and self-starter with excellent data analytical skills
- Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize business requests in face of changing priorities and competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working in a cross border set up will be preferred
- Willingness to learn and an aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, contribute independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making
