Business Systems Analysts are responsible for evaluating organizations' business processes and systems. They collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create detailed documentation outlining system specifications. Business systems analysts also play a crucial role in facilitating communication between business users and IT teams to ensure that technology solutions align with organizational goals. Additionally, they may participate in testing, training, and provide support for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of business systems.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional technology teams in an Agile environment to analyze, define, and document requirements supporting system modernization and platform transformation initiatives.
• Perform business analysis across technology‑to‑technology workflows, translating legacy capabilities and constraints into modernized solutions rather than solely gathering end‑user business requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between core modernization teams and surrounding technology and operational groups (e.g., engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, networking, operations) to ensure alignment, clarity, and successful delivery.
• Break down high‑level modernization objectives into lower‑level requirements, technical tasks, dependencies, and user stories that can be executed across multiple teams.
• Facilitate ongoing communication and coordination among technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of scope, priorities, risks, and delivery expectations.
• Work closely with Engineers and Quality Assurance to refine stories, review acceptance criteria, validate system behavior, and ensure solutions meet functional and technical expectations.
• Support delivery by performing impact analysis, identifying dependencies, and recommending pragmatic solutions across systems and teams.
• Assist with light project coordination and administrative activities, such as tracking work items, dependencies, risks, and timelines, to help keep modernization efforts moving forward.
• Review and socialize system enhancements, architectural changes, and technical solutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to improve productivity and quality of work, such as drafting requirements, summarizing technical discussions, analyzing documentation, and accelerating research and analysis activities.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies (including GenAI capabilities), and Agile delivery approaches relevant to large‑scale system modernization.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or in a related technology‑focused role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to understand complex, multi‑system environments and identify practical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in technical, cross‑functional environments, working with engineers and infrastructure‑focused teams as well as business stakeholders.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing system and technical requirements, including integrations, data flows, and platform dependencies.
• Working knowledge of technology concepts, including multi‑platform applications, databases, APIs, and system integrations, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams (expert‑level technical depth not required).
