IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
Experis IT has a contractor opening for an IT Project Coordinator to support a large client in the energy industry. This resource will sit within the Business Management Office that supports project management standards across the organization. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will engage effectively with Project Managers, providing day‑to‑day communication and support for IT program and project activities.
Job Title: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Remote – EST or CT
Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $40/hr – $50/hr W2 (Dependent on experience)
Support the Socialization of IT Program and Project Standards:
- Adhere to the standards guide during meetings with Project Managers.
- Facilitate the Classification Matrix Tool to determine the project classification with the Project Manager.
- Clarify expectations based on project classification.
- Document necessary standard practices in the IT programs and projects database.
- Monitor the database for newly available projects.
- Maintain data consistency with the IT PMO runbook/management model document.
- Implement changes to the site and publish items as identified.
- Compile and maintain a SharePoint list of project, IT, and energy acronyms.
- Monitor both IT PMO Box and Viva Engage daily.
- Summarize communications and discuss them at the weekly team meeting.
- Create a response guide based on those discussions for coverage and reference.
- Create a resource for Project Managers with the Senior Analyst, including a collection of lessons learned and projects to date, located in standards artifacts.
- Facilitate post‑project reviews of best practices and lessons learned; meet with Project Managers about this artifact.
- Meet weekly with the platform team and other module representatives. Participate in testing ITBM / SPM.
- Assist with the creation of training materials for SPM.
- Collaborate with internal and external team members, communicate with stakeholders, provide updates and information as needed.
- Serve as day‑to‑day support for project management services, ensuring consistency and transparency.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can bring their authentic self to work and all voices are heard.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of related experience in project management or coordination in IT operations, business operations, information technology or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Flexibility and comfort navigating through ambiguity or shifting priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel).
Preferred:
- Service Now ITBM/SPM knowledge.
- Microsoft Access or SQL Server experience.
- Power
BI or other reporting technology experience.
