Client Account Manager

Account Management Full Time Professional CO, Gaithersburg, MD, US

Salary Range: $ To $ Annually

About Blue Angle

Blue Angle provides business and managed services focused on end-to-end digital technology, infrastructure services, and IT advisory. Our clients include Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies across many industries, and we specialize in supporting organizations through M&A transactions, divestitures, carve-outs, roll-ups, ERP implementations, and IT transformations.

About the Role

Blue Angle is growing, and we are looking for a Client Account Manager with deep experience in the technical side of M&A divestitures and roll-ups. You will be the trusted relationship owner and technical advisor for Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies: owning executive relationships and advising client executives and deal teams on the technology side of deal strategy, including TSA scope and negotiation.

Helps define the separation or integration approach for each transaction and integration across infrastructure, security, and email. Our project managers lead delivery; you lead the relationship. This is a relationship and technical advisory role, not a sales or quota carrying role, reporting to our VP of Solutions.

What You Will Do
  • Own executive relationships with client CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, and PE operating partners.
  • Become the primary client contact and trusted technical advisor for each account's priorities, service experience, and satisfaction.
  • Advise PE deal teams and portfolio company executives on the technology side of deal strategy, including due diligence and standalone IT cost models.
  • Advise on TSA scope, service levels, and exit criteria, and support clients in TSA negotiations.
  • Recommend separation and integration approaches across infrastructure, security, identity, and Microsoft 365 email and collaboration.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation and resolve issues with our project managers and delivery teams.
  • Run QBRs, account plans, and account reporting, and identify follow-on opportunities with our VP of Solutions.
What You Bring
  • 12+ years in IT infrastructure, security, or technical consulting, including 5+ years designing and running M&A divestitures, carve-outs, or roll-up integrations.
  • 5+ years owning executive-level client relationships (C-suite and PE operating partners) in an IT services or advisory business.
  • Hands-on experience defining TSAs and supporting TSA negotiations.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Azure and AWS, networking, identity and security, and Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant m igrations.
  • Working knowledge of ERP separation (Dynamics 365, Net Suite, SAP, or Oracle), application integration catalogs, SSO migration, and data separation
  • Understanding of PE deal strategy and the deal lifecycle, from diligence through post-close value creation.
  • A record of owning long-term executive relationships with C-suite leaders, PE operating partners, and deal advisors.
  • Experience at an MSP, systems integrator, or IT consulting or transaction advisory firm.
  • US work authorization required; sponsorship is not a vailable.
Certifications (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified:
    Administrator E xpert.
  • Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Strategic account management training or certification (for example SAMA, Miller Heiman, or Challenger).
  • ITIL 4 Foundation, or M&A integration training (for example from IMAA or the M&A Leadership Council) .
  • Full-time, W-2, exempt position. US-based, remote-first.
  • Travel of 25% to 40% for client meetings, QBRs, executive sessions, and key deal milestones. Travel expenses reimbursed per Blue Angle travel policy.
  • Availability outside normal business hours for urgent client escalations and time-sensitive deal discussions
  • Generous PTO + paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) to support your future
  • Real opportunities to grow with the company
