Job Description

The Law Offices of Steven H. Heisler, LLC is growing, and we are seeking an experienced personal injury paralegal to join our team. We are offering a $1,000.00 signing bonus for this position!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Summarizing medical records and creating medical chronologies.
  • Keeping files organized by monitoring case calendars, documenting actions, and inputting information into case management software (Needles).
  • Maintaining extensive client contact to communicate case progression and status updates professionally.
  • Developing cases through filing claims and maintaining contact with adjusters, medical providers, and other attorneys.
  • Obtaining medical records and bills from providers as necessary.
  • Verifying all outstanding balances to prepare files for settlement.
  • Disputing health insurance and short-term disability liens.
  • Ensuring PIP and/or MEDPAY is processed and exhausted.
  • Preparing demand packages for settlement.
