Supply Planning Manager

Overview

DAP is hiring a Supply Planning Manager to lead and integrate a robust S&OP process across the enterprise. The role manages daily demand, supply, and inventory planning and supports the operations analytics function.

• Lead the Supply Planning process and sustain it as a business practice.
• Develop, document, and communicate an integrated monthly supply plan to meet customer service, inventory, and OEE targets. Execute the plan by managing weekly manufacturing schedules, guiding day-to-day production, and coordinating finished goods and raw material inventories to maximize customer service and operational efficiency.
• Oversee unplanned production and stock transfer orders for critical products and work centers. Resolve material and labor shortages, backlogs, and other potential supply interruptions. Collaborate cross-functionally to execute launches, promotions, order fulfillment, and key initiatives. Communicate forecast changes to Operations leadership.
• Enhance supply planning capabilities by developing and executing a strategic roadmap across Operations, including operating model, systems, reporting, and KPIs. Collaborate with SIOP, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Logistics to improve procedures and maintain best practices. Support and elevate the SIOP process and establish ownership of Supply Planning with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Drive MRP and rough-cut capacity planning to resolve supply constraints and reduce excess inventory. Monitor and improve planning systems usage and ensure readiness of weekly and monthly performance reports; assist SIOP and Plant Managers with analytical efforts.
• Build people capabilities by training, coaching, and leading staff in problem solving, communication, goal setting, and management skills. Foster a high-performance culture and cross-functional collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, or Business Management.
• 5+ years of strategic and hands-on supply planning experience.
• APICS CPIM or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems (SAP/IBP preferred) and planning tools.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to create data analytics tools.
• Creative thinking, option generation, consensus-building, and execution capability.
• Proven project leadership, strategy development, process design, and change management skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a dynamic environment.

• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, including with executive leadership.

• $95,000 to $140,000 per year
