Aerothreads is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, inventory management, and shipping/receiving operations across multiple programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are sourced cost-effectively, delivered on time, and meet quality requirements to support project schedules.

The ideal candidate brings strong supplier relationship management skills, a strategic mindset, and hands‑on experience managing procurement and inventory in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

• Manage day-to-day procurement, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations
• Analyze specifications, quality, quantity, and delivery requirements to identify optimal supply sources
• Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and bid requests
• Review material requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation for accuracy
• Monitor supplier lead times and communicate delivery status to internal stakeholders
• Allocate inventory to projects and maintain accurate inventory records
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities
• Ensure incoming inspections are completed and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or carriers
• Maintain inventory data, usage, expirations, and documentation in Deltek Costpoint
• Prepare procurement and inventory reports as needed
• Mentor, train, and develop supply chain team members
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and supplier management
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Process‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Collaborative team player with a customer‑service focus

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience required
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, inventory, or supply chain operations
• Prior experience leading or mentoring others

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform general office and warehouse activities
• Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 35 pounds
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and perform hands‑on material handling as needed
