** Overview:
** The Vice President of Finance and Operations serves as an integral member of the senior management team, responsible for the development of Cristo Rey Jesuit’s financial management strategy and contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic goals. In addition to the strategic components, the VP will be charged with leading, developing and implementing operational policies and procedures both in the finance and general operational realms.

* Advise the president and other key members of senior management on financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
* Serve as the management liaison to the finance and investment committees; effectively communicate and present critical financial matters at board of trustees and committee meetings.
* Contribute to the development of Cristo Rey Jesuit’s strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
* Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the president informed of all critical issues.
● Represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly in banking, insurance, lease negotiations, and human resources matters.
* Coordinates campus master plan with the President in conjunction with the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees.
* Coordinate collection of annual Conflict of Interest statements for Board of Trustees. In conjunction with Finance Committee and President, review all statements.
* Work collaboratively with key members of senior management to assess and approve the facility and capital requests to ensure we are meeting CRJ strategic goals.
* Assist as a reviewer and advisor for internal communications.
* Serve as a liaison with Holy Rosary, especially regarding shared campus responsibilities, and provide leadership on long-term facility expansion and capital planning. Team Development
* Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the business office.
* Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
* Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.
* Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results. Finance and Operations
* Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting.
* Maintain internal control systems, polices and procedures, and accounting standards to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Oversees and leads annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the President; administers and reviews all financial plans and budgets; monitors progress and changes.
* In collaboration with the President, ensure that Cristo Rey Jesuit is adhering to the strategic plan, delivering status reports to the board.
* Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial analyses and reports to support decision-making.
* Administer operational accounting services such as treasury management, 403-B plan, payroll, accounts payable, and purchasing in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
* Coordinates and leads the annual audit process.
* Manages organizational cash flow, liquidity, and forecasting, with particular attention to line of credit usage and constraints.
* Track endowment performance and coordinate review of gift agreements to ensure alignment with donor intent; work closely with Advancement to ensure that pledges are appropriately documented, tracked, and classified. Risk Management and Compliance
