Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, Operations Manager

Yorktel is currently seeking a Project Manager who is a member of the onsite client Project Management Team within York Telecom Corporation. A Qualified Project Manager will apply their industry knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills and administrative techniques to coordinate activities to implement various solutions at the client site for York Telecom customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for coordinating all internal and external tasks to deploy assigned service projects

* Ability to handle several large to mid-size projects as well as several additional smaller projects simultaneously

* Responsible for conducting internal and external kickoff meetings for projects and establishing project schedules

* Responsible for scheduling and holding project status meetings, as necessary

* Ability to project job cost assessment and tracking related to each effort as well as providing monthly project forecasts

* Interface with vendors as necessary

* Act as Single Point of Contact during project execution

* Able to lead the Project Team to meet assigned success criteria

Education and Experience:

* 3 - 5 years' experience in Project Management in the Customer Service area

* PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification desired

* Degree or equivalent experience in a Technical Field

Additional Requirements:

* Valid U.S. driver's license is a requirement.

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

* Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.

* Limited weekend and/or night work may be required

* Must be willing to apply for and receive Suitability Clearance
