Provider Policy & Communications, Division Chief; Administrator V Supervisor

This Division Chief position leads the Provider Policy & Communications Division within Maryland Medicaid, overseeing the coordination of provider policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and communications with both internal and external stakeholders. The role directs a team of five staff members, manages Medicaid regulations and State Plan Amendments, and serves as a key advisor on provider policy feasibility and compliance matters. The position involves developing short and long-range plans to address provider needs, supervising regulatory processes, and representing the Department in high-level meetings and committees.

• Six years of administrative or professional work experience (or equivalent education substitution)
• Experience evaluating, analyzing, and developing healthcare services policies and programs
• Experience supervising or leading staff and managing multi-team projects
• Experience analyzing and applying State and Federal Medicaid regulations and policies
• Experience managing policy implementation projects in social service programs
