In this role will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of lean principles in the BAC manufacturing plant in Chiuro (Italy) You will also coordinate and actively implement local activities to identify & prioritize opportunities & assist with the deployment of the global BAC Continuous improvement roadmap.
Interested in actively promoting and sustaining Lean & BAC Excellence at our production plant?
- You’ll actively collaborate with the Italian teams to develop and implement the Continuous Improvement program in Chiuro including enhancement of Global Assembly Standards (GAS) definition, gap analysis, assessments BACX (audits).
- You’ll take care of training development & follow-up of progression status, creating & actively promoting benchmarking between the plants & systems and actively sharing best practices.
- You’ll analyse the needs of current work and production processes and make (pro‑active) recommendations for improvements.
- You’ll cooperate with projects related to new technological developments in production, meeting the expected results in the expected timeframe including equipment feasibility studies, selection and standardization and communicate process steps and progress with all stakeholders
A thorough understanding of Lean systems & Manufacturing processes combined with
hands‑on approach?
- You combine a bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3-5 years working experience within (preferably) a manufacturing environment.
- You can express yourself fluently in Italian and English (min. B2 level), as well written as spoken.
- The extensive experience with Lean systems (5S, TPM, VSM, 5W2H, Gemba walks ...), detailed experience with leading VSM workshops & Quick Response Manufacturing are your strengths.
- Thanks to your strong communication skills, you can coordinate & actively implement projects and motivate local cross‑functional teams.
- Open minded & curious person who wants to learn, you’re open for innovative ideas.
- Your desire to consistently & actively contribute, collaborate and improve are supported by your hands‑on approach.
- Travelling occasionally within this role (max. 5%)
