Position Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and fabricating electro-mechanical components, systems, and products according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the efficient production of high-quality electro-mechanical devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Install, align, and adjust mechanical and electrical components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform soldering, wiring, and cable harnessing as required.
  • Test assembled electro-mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug assembly issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, including recording measurements, test results, and any deviations from specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
  • Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electro-mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and measurement instruments.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembling small components.
  • Salary: $17 - $24 an hour
