** Job Description

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
* Create documentation for production support and data collection.
* Part of team that approves new product designs for production.
* Assesses and approves new product tooling for production.
* Reviews and authorizes new product processes for production.
* Initiates and maintains “open items” tracking system for new products.
* Attends all tooling tryouts at the tooling vendors.
* Coordinates all tooling tryouts at the manufacturing facility.
* Participates in obtaining PSW approvals on new products.
* Continuously improve processes utilizing synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques to improve labor efficiencies and quality.
* Must have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD)
* Must have very strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
* Must have very strong communication skills (verbal & written)
* To exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude and to maintain a positive and productive workplace
* Exhibit teamwork and actively participate in team projects/activities in a positive working environment.
* Demonstrate problem solving skills in the workplace and always strive for continuous improvement.
** Requirements:
*** A Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline.
* Must have a minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
