• Move product from packaging lines to the appropriate trailer or staging area.
• Organize product staging areas and lanes to facilitate efficient loading.
• Load products onto trailers, ensuring proper stacking and preventing shipment of damaged goods.
• Remove out-of-code products, check date and price codes regularly and label accordingly.
• Keep truck and dock areas clean and organized.
• Serve as a break person for other shipping employees on various lines and/or platforms.
• Work on the platform, including unloading in-bound products.
• Complete paperwork (load sheets, block sheets) with accuracy and neatness.
• Perform trailer checks, including sweeping and checking for damage, and submit information to the department manager.
• Inform supervisors of the floor inventory of empty trays and equipment.
• Communicate with packaging employees to ensure accurate product counts on each truck, reconciling trailer paperwork to packaging wrap sheets.

• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety guidelines and reporting incidents.
• Promote employee safety in all areas of operations.

• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Able to count and perform basic math.
• Able to read and comprehend department materials and load sheets.
• Capable of lifting or maneuvering up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to reach approximately 7 feet high to move product.
• Physically capable of moving to all areas of the plant.
• Able to view products and determine adherence to quality control standards.
• Able to read, comprehend, and practice safety procedures, signs, etc.
• Perform other duties deemed integral by management.
