DescriptionHands‑on problem solver thrives in a fast‑paced, physically active environment. Performs complex assembly and installation tasks—fitting and adjusting parts of major sub‑assemblies or completing minor assemblies with precision. Checks minor assembly tools and executes advanced riveting techniques. Builds with precision, grit and growth focus.
Responsibilities- Work from blueprints, lofts, sketches and verbal information.
- Assemble major production sub‑assemblies or perform similar operations without tools.
- Determine location, position, accuracy of fit and conformity to contour.
- Ream holes and fair outer surfaces.
- Perform advanced riveting operations, adjust and operate riveting machines.
- Make repairs, replacements and alterations per engineering or quality control requirements.
- Prepare surfaces for adhesive and sealing compounds.
- Apply primer, adhesive, install parts, and assure proper fit.
- Seal parts, lay together, and use clamps, screws and fasteners.
- Visually check sealant application.
- Use check tools, fixtures, inspection gauges, and precision measuring devices to acquire product acceptance data.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and perform work for extended periods.
- Must lift at least 25 pounds.
- Work able in varying temperatures and dust environments.
- Objective, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Independent worker capable of maximizing productivity.
- Detail oriented and timely in task completion.
- Strong interpersonal skills with employees, vendors, and the public.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- $20.00 per hour.
