The Marketing Strategist at Mulbah is responsible for leading the growth of 20 founder‑led, positive impact consumer brands by building and executing powerful, research‑driven marketing strategies. This role blends deep strategy, precise copywriting, and creative storytelling. You’ll be responsible for positioning each brand, developing messaging that connects with the audience, writing impactful social and ad copy, and guiding content that drives revenue and engagement.

This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position for an initial duration of 6 months. You will be hired as a W‑2 salaried employee of Mulbah, with the same level of commitment and integration as any other team member. At the end of the contract, there is the potential for the role to be extended or converted into an ongoing position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

Market Research
  • Conduct in‑depth research on each brand’s industry, audience, and competitors.
  • Identify trends, consumer behaviors, pain points, and market gaps.
  • Create a clear and organized Marketing Research Report with actionable insights for each partner.
Brand Position
  • Develop detailed Brand Position documents including:
  • Brand Findings, Audience Overview, and Idea Persona
  • Customer Journey Analysis (Awareness → Loyalty)
  • Brand Messaging, Tagline, Tone, Voice, Mission, Manifesto
  • Visual Direction and Brand Pillars
  • Ensure every brand is positioned clearly with a strong, emotionally resonant message.
Social Media Copywriting
  • Write 15+ monthly social captions per partner using the brand’s voice.
  • Align all copy with the brand’s content.
  • Write copy for visual graphics that enhances clarity and engagement.
Facebook Advertising Copywriting
  • Create 15 sets of Facebook ad copy per partner (headline, primary text, description).
  • Write for clarity, conversion, and emotional connection with the audience.
Quarterly Initiatives
  • Draft and send Quarterly Initiatives Emails to partners by the 22nd of the last month in each quarter.
  • Recap past/current quarter work and secure approval on future initiatives.
  • Attach clear tasks with due dates in Asana for partner responses.
  • Maintain strategic alignment between Mulbah and each brand partner.
Pre‑Meeting Procedures
  • Prepare meeting notes and agendas at least one day before each scheduled monthly meeting.
  • Reach out via email to confirm attendance and objectives for each meeting.
  • Organize all relevant materials and context ahead of time.
Post‑Meeting Procedures
  • Conduct Monthly Partner Meeting.
  • Create detailed meeting recaps and list action items in the Meeting Notes document, and share it in Sack and on the Quarterly Initiatives email thread.
  • Create follow‑up tasks in Asana to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • If a partner misses the meeting, follow up professionally and close the meeting loop in Asana.
Results
  • Clear, insight‑driven brand positioning for all partners that resonates with their target audience.
  • Marketing strategies drive a 30% increase in revenue growth per partner, per quarter.
  • Strategic content execution leads to a 30% increase in follower count per partner, per quarter.
  • Ad copy and social content generate high engagement, conversions, and measurable business impact.
  • Every brand has a refined message, strong tagline, compelling story, and clear voice that reflects its mission.
