Our team is dedicated, collaborative, and knows how to have fun along the way. If you're looking to be part of a team that values both hard work and a positive work culture, we want to hear from you!

Maryland READS is a movement to ensure every child in Maryland can read and thrive. We bring together educators, families, advocates, and community leaders to advance equitable literacy practices, influence policy, and build collective power for literacy justice.

About the READ Strong Network: At Maryland READS, we know that literacy extends far beyond the classroom. The READ Strong Network is our statewide initiative to build a thriving Reading Ecosystem by connecting community organizations, schools, libraries, businesses, healthcare providers, and other local stakeholders to families and students. Guided by local Steering Committees and supported by Maryland READS’ resources and statewide expertise, the READ Strong Network is creating a culture of reading that strengthens the future of literacy across Maryland.

This role blends organizing, advocacy, and project management supporting the growth of our READ Strong Network and helping mobilize communities across Maryland to take action for literacy. As the Community Network Manager, you’ll coordinate operations, strengthen relationships with partners, and lead initiatives that connect local efforts to statewide change.

You’ll be the thread that keeps our network connected and helps them understand the policies and decisions that impact reading instruction and ensure Maryland’s literacy advocates are informed, connected, and working towards building strong literacy ecosystems.
