Gaudenzia is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented nurse for this program. We provide trauma‑informed care and support various levels of care, with a mission to promote long‑term recovery for people with substance use disorder, co‑occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions.

Our facilities specialize in providing low‑to‑high intensity residential treatment for SUD, Co‑Occurring disorders, and MAT services. Your Responsibilities- Perform initial nursing assessment for clients within 24 hours of admission in accordance with established program policies and state regulation.
- Arrange appropriate appointments with Health Care Providers to secure complete physical examinations and required additional health screenings and supplemental tests.
- Administer medications and supervise self‑administered medications where appropriate and allowed by regulation.
- Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies and accurate records in compliance with governing regulations and agency policy.
- Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, self‑care, symptom management, etc.
- Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage to guarantee safety, adequate care, and provider compliance for payment.
- Ensure proper storage of supplies as required by regulation.
- Assist in the facilitation of special events, including staff training, staff retreats, workshops, and facility events.
- Implement health seminars on HIV/AIDS, nutrition, medication education, infectious diseases, mental health, etc.
- Participate in treatment/multidisciplinary team meetings as directed.
- Implement and assure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
- Provide education for clients regarding health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
- Maintain LPN license with good standing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager or designee.
- MUST be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Must have a good standing license (LPN or RN) valid in the state where clinical practice will occur.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- New graduates and newly licensed LPNs or RNs are encouraged to apply, as direct job experience is not a requirement.
- Wound Care Experience is required.
- Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health Experience preferred.
