ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Nurse Manager, Inpatient Oncology, assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the operation of the assigned unit. He/she combines clinical expertise with leadership and nursing management principles to deliver high quality, cost-effective patient care and ensure satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
RequirementsGraduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelor’s Degree required;
Master’s Degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar setting/unit.
Evidence of progressive leadership responsibilities.
Current clinical skills and knowledge to provide direct care for a caseload of patients as required.
Assumes administrative responsibilities in the absence of the nurse manager and provides coverage for colleagues.
