RN II – Emergency Department, 12‑hour Rotating Shifts (JHH)
Join Johns Hopkins Hospital as an RN II in the Emergency Department. This full‑time role includes rotating days and nights with weekend work required.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, including trauma patients 15 years and older.
- Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and a regional Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Participate in daily patient assessment, triage, and treatment within a 76‑bed ED.
- Document patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attend to patients 24/7, ensuring a safe and efficient ED environment.
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross or Military Training Network).
- RN experience required.
- Enrollment in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire is acceptable for those with an ADN.

Minimum $38.49/hour – Maximum $59.66/hour. Compensation commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
