RN II – Emergency Department, 12‑hour Rotating Shifts (JHH)

Join Johns Hopkins Hospital as an RN II in the Emergency Department. This full‑time role includes rotating days and nights with weekend work required.

• Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, including trauma patients 15 years and older.
• Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and a regional Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Participate in daily patient assessment, triage, and treatment within a 76‑bed ED.
• Document patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend to patients 24/7, ensuring a safe and efficient ED environment.

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross or Military Training Network).
• RN experience required.
• Enrollment in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire is acceptable for those with an ADN.

Minimum $38.49/hour – Maximum $59.66/hour. Compensation commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
