If you are a new Registered Nurse seeking a fast‑paced unit, our Medical B unit is the place for you - a 31‑bed fast paced unit! Patients who are admitted here with acute medical illnesses & chronic co‑morbidities are cared for by our excellent Registered Nurses. The Medical subspecialties that our RNs care for on this unit include Cardiology, Endocrinology, Pulmonary, Geriatrics, Hematology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology.
Nursing grads who start here prepare them for a higher level of care, such as endo, ICU, ED, etc. It is also a great place for Registered Nurses whose interest is in Psych to obtain the training.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center | Your benefits virtually ()
- RN license in Maryland or compact state
- CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Required to be enrolled in a BSN Program within one year of hire and complete the program within 5 years)
- Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful

Salary Range:
Minimum $35.02/hour - Maximum $52.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
