The Certified Nursing Assistant, under supervision of a registered nurse, performs delegated patient care procedures and ADLs for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing the detoxification process. Reports and records information.

Education and Work Experience

• Must possess a high‑school diploma or GED
• Must possess one year of experience in an acute hospital setting
• Knowledge of chemical dependency preferred

Specific Requirements

• Certification Requirements:
  • Nursing Assistant Certification, CPR
• Other Requirements:
  • Obtaining and recording vital signs
