Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Start Date:

March 23, 2026 - Duration: 14 weeks
- Shift: 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week (36 hours/week guaranteed)
- Weekend/Holiday:
Every other weekend and holiday required - Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Float:
May float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed - Estimated Weekly Salary: $
- Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro RN and Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Basic EKG testing (provided by agency; must be completed before orientation)
- Annual completion of 8 stroke CEUsAbility to work every other weekend and holiday
- Preferred:
Previous charge nurse, trauma level I/II, and Cerner charting experience
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological and medical‑surgical conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and post‑neurosurgery care
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and provide clinical support for acute neuro patients
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform phlebotomy procedures
- Care for central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and surgical drains
- Perform wound care, tracheostomy care, and feeding tube management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Participate in rapid response/code teams and adhere to isolation precautions
- Float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed to support hospital operations
- Complete all required orientation and annual training modules
