Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have neurology and medical-surgical telemetry experience and be part of a Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center. You will primarily care for neuro-related patients but may also support other patient populations as a telemetry overflow unit.

• Provide nursing care in a telemetry environment.
• Manage patients with neurological diagnoses, seizures, and stroke.
• Perform basic EKG testing and vital monitoring.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Respond to patient emergencies and coordinate rapid response as needed.

• 2 years of Neurology and Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
