Specialized psychiatric emergency unit located within the Main ED.

Patients are triaged through the Main ED and brought to the crisis unit if psychiatric care is needed.

RNs care for them and complete assessments as the patients wait for evaluations.

Adult and pediatric patients are treated.

Security has a strong partnership and presence with the unit.

Staffed with psychiatric counselors and RNs.

Cross‑training to adult inpatient psychiatric and Child & Adolescent Psych Unit provided.

Part‑time nights: two 12‑hour shifts and every 3rd weekend (full benefits).

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1‑year RN experience required; 1+ years inpatient psychiatric or Psych ED RN experience strongly preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days.

USD $37.10 - $56.91 /hr.
