The Pediatric Oncology Outpatient Clinic is a combination of Medical Oncology and Stem cell transplant patients, including patients with Leukemia (ALL and AML), Brain tumors, Sarcomas (Rhabdomyosarcoma, Osteosarcoma, Ewing’s Sarcoma), neuroblastoma, and Wilms Tumor. The unit’s Stem Cell transplant patients include those being treated for malignancies and or non-malignant diseases (such as Sickle Cell Disease, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, SCID). Staff cares for patients of various ages;
birth to 26 years of age in active treatment, and patients well into adulthood as part of the late effects program. Clinic services include follow‑up appointments, infusions, procedures with and without sedation, and sick visits for our population.
Provide nursing care for pediatric oncology patients, manage treatments, administer infusions, provide education, assess patient status, coordinate with multidisciplinary team, and ensure patient safety and clinical excellence.
Qualifications- BSN required.
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.
- Basic Life Support CPR certification required.
- RN work experience required.
- One year of pediatric oncology nursing experience preferred and strongly desired.
Minimum $39.94/hour—Maximum $61.61/hour, commensurate with equity and experience. Salary discussions occur during candidate screening prior to any subsequent compensation discussion.
