Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, and recent charge and PACU experience.

• Position is in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Patients are recovering from anesthesia post-operatively
• Pre-op and PACU patient populations
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted
• Responsibilities include pre-op assessment and post-anesthesia recovery care
• Orientation modules must be completed prior to start and during onboarding, depending on specialty
• If returning staff, must have been separated from previous employment for at least 1 year
• First time travelers are welcome for this position

• Active MD or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• At least 2 years of recent PACU and pre-op experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
