American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a surgical unit position requiring MD or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of current nursing experience.
Details- Work on a surgical unit caring for orthopedic, GI, spine, trauma, and general surgery patients
- Provide pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care, including orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery cases
- Multiple levels of care provided including adult inpatient acute and telemetry units
- Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
- Dysrhythmia management experience required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC experience preferred
- 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
- Experience in a comparable facility size (500+ beds) required
- Deliver nursing care to adult surgical patients across multiple acuity levels
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Strong candidates preferred given the high standards of this academic medical center
