American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Stepdown position requiring MD or compact licensure and 2+ years of experience.

• 22-bed Telemetry Unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Float position supporting a flexible workforce team

• Active RN license from Maryland Board of Nursing or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure required
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Lead delivery of evidence-based nursing care in alignment with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real time, maintaining clear communication with the medical team
• Manage discharge planning to support safe patient transitions from hospital to home
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address
