American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Stepdown unit requiring an active MD or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

• 22-bed Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing or compact license required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS and PALS preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent professional licensure required

• Lead delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care aligned with safety and organizational standards
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, seamless patient care
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real time, communicating proactively with the medical team
• Initiate and manage discharge planning to ensure safe patient transitions from hospital to home
• Accepts local candidates, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
