American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Stepdown position requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

• 22-bed Telemetry unit
• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• Flexible workforce float role supporting multidisciplinary care teams

• Active RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing (or compact) required prior to start
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current license and Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Lead delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in line with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, seamless patient care
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions, communicating proactively with the care team
• Manage discharge planning to ensure safe and successful patient transitions
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Covid vaccination is not required
