American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Stepdown unit position requiring 2+ years of experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.

• 22-bed telemetry unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing or compact license required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• PALS certification preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or current professional licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a telemetry/stepdown environment
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary care team to support holistic patient outcomes
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions, communicating proactively with the medical team
• Manage discharge planning to support safe patient transitions from hospital to home
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate
• Must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address
