American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Stepdown position requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• 22-bed Telemetry unit
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30

• Active RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing (MD or Compact)
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• PALS preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent professional licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Lead delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care ensuring high safety standards
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary care team to ensure holistic, outcome-focused patient care
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real time, serving as liaison between patient and medical team
• Manage comprehensive discharge planning for safe patient transition from hospital to home
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with management approximately 45 days before end date
• COVID-19 vaccination not required
