American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring MD or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of Neuro Critical Care experience.

• Work in the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU) providing post-operative neurosurgical care
• Patient population includes those with severe brain injuries, stroke, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases
• Rotating 7a/7p shift schedule
• 36 hours per week with no guaranteed hours
• Weekend rotation required, 3 of every 6 weekends
• On-call required, 2 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required as needed to areas of similar skill set, including ICU/IMC
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (MD or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro Critical Care experience required
• ACLS, Critical Care Certification, and trauma course preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience at a comparable facility size required (500+ bed facility experience for this assignment)

• Care for neurologically complex patients requiring coordination between brain and other vital organ systems
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
