American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Care Oncology/Med-Surg unit, requiring MD or compact RN license and strong telemetry background.

• Work on Weinberg 5, floating between the IMC/Tele unit (WBG5A) and Acute Care Oncology Med-Surg unit (WBG5B)
• Adult oncology patient population, including Leukemia and Benign Hematology cases
• Night shift 12-hour schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Chemotherapy is administered on the unit, though agency nurses are not required to give it
• Patients require central line management, chemotherapy support, blood transfusions, cardiac monitoring, and supplemental oxygen

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of IMC experience or strong Med-Surg background required
• Oncology experience or background required
• Strong telemetry experience required
• 1-2 prior travel assignments required
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with central lines, chemotherapy, and blood transfusions required
• Experience managing patients with cardiac monitoring and supplemental oxygen required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ beds) required
• Alaris pump experience preferred
• Chemo certification preferred

• Provide direct patient care across IMC and Acute Care Oncology units, including telemetry monitoring and central line management
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Strong candidates only will be considered for this facility
