American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Surgical ICU/Intermediate Care position requiring 2+ years of current SICU experience and at least 2 previous travel assignments.

• Surgical ICU (SICU/9E) within the Department of Surgery
• Cares for ICU and post-surgical patients including trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, ortho-spine, oncology, and general surgery cases
• Night shift 12-hour schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Floating required to areas of similar skill set
• Weekend commitment of 3 out of every 6 weekends
• On-call availability required twice per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience required
• At least 2 previous travel assignments required
• Comparable facility size experience required (500+ bed facility experience preferred)
• Critical Care Certification, trauma course completion, EPIC, and ACLS experience preferred

• Provide critical and post-surgical care to a complex patient population including trauma, transplant, vascular, and oncology cases
• Strong candidates are preferred given the high acuity academic hospital setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
