American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Oncology Telemetry unit requiring an MD or compact RN license, oncology background, and telemetry experience.
Details- Adult Medical Oncology unit specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant, CAR-T, Hematologic and Solid Tumor Malignancies
- Medical Non-Surgical Oncology Telemetry (Med Surg Tele) patient population
- Acute care setting with telemetry monitoring
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Chemotherapy is administered on the unit, though not required of agency nurses
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
- Oncology background required
- Telemetry experience required
- 1-2 prior travel assignments required
- Experience in a comparable facility size required (500+ bed facility experience for this assignment)
- Alaris pump experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Chemo certification preferred
- Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Strong candidates preferred given the high-acuity academic medical center setting
